I come from a large family and grew up in Mendocino County. My childhood was a rich and challenging experience, inspiring me to work with others in a capacity of deep caring, healing and growth. I believe in our ability to overcome, but also in our need to be fully seen, especially in our hardships.
I have had some wonderful opportunities to travel, providing valuable perspective. I am a parent and experience the challenges and triumphs of this role. I have been personally impacted by suicide, addiction and the pain of the human experience.
Currently, I serve as the Executive Director of a local non profit mental health agency. While this position is important and meaningful, it is my work as a therapist that is closest to my heart. Like you, I am on my own continuous journey of self discovery.
