Individual Therapy
One-on-one meetings provide a focused place to process, share and build skills. Following an assessment, we will collaborate on goals to address the top priorities in your life. This may mean establishing safety, building structure, recalling the experiences that shaped you, or building the skills to emote, communicate, listen and engage in life. Children can have a safe space to gain self-awareness, build empathy, and trust . Teens can relax into a non judgmental environment, become better acquainted with their inner and outer selves, and learn to make choices that move them toward intention.
Family Therapy
Change can be more effective and sustainable when done in relationship with others. For this reason, I welcome those ready to work as a couple or family to heal, understand and support each other. My process is to meet with the family as a whole, followed by an assessment with each family member before diving into the group change experience. Family therapy can help enhance interpersonal awareness, build communication and problem solving skills and heal rifts in attachment. Whether you are dealing with conflict, life transitions or want to enhance your communication, family therapy can be a great tool.
Assessment and Behavioral Coaching
Parenting can be so challenging and sometimes we get stuck in unhelpful ways of interacting with our children. I offer observation, assessment and behavioral planning sessions to help you better understand and respond to your child’s behavior.
